Administrative Professionals Day

administrative professionals day

Getting a tour of one of Jade’s warehouses.

Every year in April, MACED observes Administrative Professionals Day. This holiday is celebrated by organizations around the world to give thanks and recognition to their administrative staff.  Rather than doing the traditional celebratory lunch, MACED invites its administrative staff to get away from their desks and venture into the region to see MACED’s work in action.

Planned by the O-Team, the day provides an opportunity for our administrative staff to visit and interact with MACED’s clients. In the past, administrative staff has journeyed to areas such as Paintsville and Hazard, Kentucky to visit with MACED clients.  This year, eight staff members traveled throughout Berea and Richmond. The day included a visit with the following clients: Jade Enterprises; The Glass Studio; landowners Tim and Jane Hensley; and Richmond Underground, a laser tag facility.

Many of MACED’s program staff travel throughout the region on a regular basis. That’s not typically the case for MACED’s administrative staff. They’re the ones who ensure that our daily operations run as smoothly and efficiently as possible. MACED’s administrative staff really appreciate the opportunity and look forward to celebrating Administrative Professionals Day each April.
