About the O-Team

administrative professionals day

MACED observes Administrative Professionals Day every April. This holiday provides a chance to give thanks and recognition to administrative support staff. Rather than having a traditional celebratory lunch, MACED invites its administrative staff to get away from their desks and venture out into MACED's service region to see MACED's work in action and visit and interact with MACED clients.

Many of MACED's program staff travel throughout the region on a regular basis. But MACED's administrative staff are usually limited to the Berea office. They ensure that MACED's daily operations run as smoothly and efficiently as possible, which usually happens behind a desk. MACED's administrative staff enjoy the opportunity to meet people impacted by MACED's work and look forward to celebrating Administrative Professionals Day each April.

Lorie Morgan of Gladstone Catering in Paintsville, Ky., is a MACED borrower. Here, in 2013, she tells staff her story as a small business owner.
Tracy Howard of Jade Enterprises gives operations staff a tour in 2012 of the facility MACED funded.
