Dustin Pugel joined the staff in October 2015 and focuses on policy issues related to health care and the safety net. Dustin previously worked for BUILD in Lexington, where he organized and trained congregations to conduct research and advocacy on issues relating to low-income families. He also provided policy research assistance for the Kentucky Council for Developmental Disabilities. He has a master’s in public administration from the University of Kentucky and a BA in History from Asbury University.
