Les Roll opened MACED’s Hazard office in 2011. As a member of MACED’s Enterprise Development Program, his work focuses on supporting entrepreneurs and businesses in 14 counties. Les is also engaged in supporting comprehensive community development efforts underway in Hazard, emphasizing local food, creative placemaking and downtown revitalization. A two-term AmeriCorps alum, Les is a graduate of the University of Kentucky College of Law and a member of the Kentucky Bar. He was certified as an Economic Development Financial Professional in 2012. Currently, Les serves on the loan committee and board of Redbud Financial Alternatives, an emerging CDFI working in consumer credit; and on the board of Northfork Local Food, which operates the Perry County Farmers Market.
