Megan Naseman joined MACED’s staff in October 2012. Prior to working at MACED, Megan worked as a legal assistant in a local environmental law office and served in AmeriCorps. Megan graduated from Berea College in 2007 with an independent major in Outdoor Education with an emphasis on Sustainability and Environmental Studies (SENS). While at Berea College as the student director of the SENS program she led campus and community environmental education workshops. Her passion for the Appalachian region began in a Sustainable Appalachian Communities course and was deepened through involvement with Kentuckians for the Commonwealth (KFTC). Outside of the office Megan is delighted by baking pies, trail running, and playing the banjo.
