Zuojay Johnson became MACED’s Office Manager in the Fall of 2015 after graduating from Berea College, where she studied philosophy and English. During her time at Berea, she worked closely with first-year students, helping them develop college-level writing skills while assisting them with their transition to college life. Before her return to college, Zuojay also worked with low-income populations during her time with the Madison County Health Department. She has also served as a volunteer at the L’Abri Fellowship in Great Britain pursing interests related to poverty, faith, cultural criticism, and the arts. When not at work Zuojay delights in listening to podcasts while undertaking ill-fated painting projects as well as spending time with her husband and children.
